An experienced former fund manager managing a series of highly ranked funds (F&C, MFS, Lombard Odier, Carmignac), Michael Hulme started Brevarthan Research during the lockdown period as a natural adjunct to his consulting work with hedge funds and other clients. “Identifying the early warning signs of failure” Brevarthan Research seeks to work with companies and individuals to identify uncorrelated sources of alpha primarily (though not exclusively) focussing on short ideas.As well as working with investment companies on idea generation and research, Michael also offers coaching and investment seminars for investment managers and analysts.
